The UFC 119 fight card was originally scheduled to feature a rematch between former heavyweight champions Frank Mir and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira , but due to Nogueira injury he was replace by Cro Cop. Cro Cop has been tapped on five-weeks notice for the main event. Two of the best heavyweights of the modern era, Frank Mir and Mirko Cro Cop, finally meet in a grappler vs striker showdown.
UFC 119 takes place on Sept. 25 at the Conseco Field House in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Rodrigo Nogueira’s twin brother, Rogerio, will remain on the card in the co-main event facing off against The Ultimate Fighter winner Ryan Bader.
